A guided, no-pressure session built around getting you a headshot you genuinely like — for LinkedIn, your website, press bios, or anywhere you show up online.
Individual headshot sessions are the most-booked service at Captured by Mallary — and the format is intentionally simple. You arrive at the New Tampa studio, we spend a few minutes walking through wardrobe, then we shoot. The whole thing runs 30 to 60 minutes depending on outfit changes, and you leave knowing exactly which images you're keeping.
Every session is tethered, meaning images appear on a monitor in real time as we shoot. You see what's working, what to adjust, and which expression actually looks like you. This is the single biggest reason people walk out happy — there's no mystery, no guessing, no waiting two weeks to find out whether you got something usable.
Mallary directs every pose, every angle, every micro-expression. You don't have to know what to do with your hands. You don't have to perform 'natural confidence.' The direction does the heavy lifting.
Most individual-session bookings come from people in a transition moment. New job, promotion, rebranding, finally retiring an eight-year-old LinkedIn photo, prepping for a press feature or speaking engagement, or just updating an image that no longer represents who they've become professionally.
Common professions: executives, attorneys, physicians, consultants, financial advisors, real estate agents, business owners, entrepreneurs, authors, speakers, and anyone whose first impression online is a photo. If your headshot is older than three years, it's probably time.
Individual headshot packages are tiered based on session length, number of outfits, and final image count. Current pricing is sent within one business day of inquiry — submit a quick form on the booking page or call directly.
A non-refundable retainer reserves your date and is applied to the session total. Most weekday slots fill 2–3 weeks in advance; Saturdays fill 4–6 weeks out. Rush bookings are sometimes possible — call to check.
Studio sessions take place in New Tampa with easy access from Wesley Chapel, Temple Terrace, USF, and downtown via I-75 and Bruce B. Downs. Individual sessions are studio-only; for on-location individual headshots, see Executive Branding Portraits.
